Stacy Everhart

Stacy Everhart joined the Bighorns as Assistant Coach for the 2022-2023 inaugural TBL season. He has transitioned his basketball literacy and passion to a scout to serve the team and players year-round.

Stacy graduated from A.C. Davis High School in Yakima, Washington in 1985 where he was a basketball standout. In his time as a Pirate, he secured Second Team and First Team All Big 9 honors as well as was recognized as the team MVP.

He took his talent to the next level and accepted a scholarship from Yakima Valley College under Coach Elwood Crosier. With Everhart's help, the Yaks won the League Championship and the Eastern Regional Championship (1986-1987 NWAACC). Everhart was named the Regional MVP and selected as a Second Team All-Star.

Everhart transferred to a four-year institution but kept his talent local by heading to Ellensburg. He played for Central Washington University under Hall of Fame and decorated Head Coach Dean Nicholson. In his tenure, the Wildcats won the NAIA District 1 Championship and advanced to NAIA Division 1 National Tournament reaching the Final four. Everhart and the entire Wildcats team was inducted in the CWU Hall of Fame in 2011.

Everhart has also been a basketball official from 2004-2015 -- Officiating AAU, academic-based youth ball, and men’s tournaments.
