Wenatchee has just received their first professional basketball team, the Wenatchee Bighorns. The Bighorns season is set to start on March 2, 2023, in the Town Toyota Center, marking an exciting point in Wenatchee’s professional sports history.

The Wenatchee Bighorns are part of the Basketball League (TBL) with over 50 teams recognized nationally alongside several teams based in Canada.  The league has diverse and dedicated leadership. Evelyn Magley, the CEO, and founder of the TBL made history in 2017 when she became the first African American woman to own a male professional sports league. With a passion for community building and the foundation of the league revolving around these values that Evelyn has brought forth, Wenatchee stands to benefit on all levels with the addition of the Bighorns.

The Bighorns looks to be one of the top sources of entertainment in the Wenatchee Valley and North Central Washington. Basketball games will often be accompanied by pre-game events, meet and greets with TBL and NBA players, and activities that provide fun for the whole family. Aside from being a premium entertainment outlet, the Bighorns have plans to establish themselves within the community and be a beacon of positivity for the youth. One of the many ways the Bighorns plan to bring the community together is through their Family City Tour.  This will provide a much more intimate experience with the Bighorns team and fans will be able to interact with players up close and personal. Basketball camps will also be held throughout the season, off-season, and offered to all age ranges and those looking to improve their basketball skillset with the guidance of professionals. In addition to the Bighorns camps, players will serve the community by helping with food drives and other philanthropic activities.

The Town Toyota Center is the home of the Bighorns with plans to do a city tour to a second location in town. The season will start strong with a home game against the Seattle Super Hawks March 2nd , 7:05pm at the Town Toyota Center.  Become a part of history and get your season game passes at wenatcheebighorns.com/tickets to reserve your spot!
